Color Throwdown #77

Hi Everyone - welcome back to the 77th color challenge brought to you by the Color Throwdown team and moi, Cathy, your hostess! The colors I chose this week are...

My inspiration behind the colors was a Colorbok paper tablet I have. I found it, dare I say, a couple of years ago at Walmart! I'm finally digging into it!!!

Remember, you don't have to use these exact colors... just use whatever you have that is most-similar. And your card should primarily consist of these colors... adding neutrals is OK, but we want to see these three colors in prominance on your card! Be sure to review the eligiblity requirements in the right hand sidebar if you want to be considered for Featured Stamper next week.

Check out the projects from the team below for more inspiration...

LeAnne Pugliese - WeeInklings

Barbara Anders - Paper Pursuits

Danielle Kennedy - Wild Dragonfly Designs

Kristin Bueter - Mindless Creativity

Tammy Hershberger - Stamp Happy

Deb Horst, January Guest Designer - Sendable Sentiments

Featured Stamper #76

Many thanks to everyone for the bright, beautiful entries in last week's Color Throwdown #76! I loved seeing all the bright cards with that gorgeous Melon Mambo! There were 53 entries before the deadline this week, so.......the Featured Stamper this week is #48, Marilyn from Paper Dreams, with this cute coffee-themed card! It really makes me crave a muffin and a big mug of coffee!

And my Top 5 Faves this week are, in no particular order...

Thanks to everyone for playing along, and stay tuned for a beautiful color combo from Cathy tomorrow!

Color Throwdown #76

Greetings, and welcome to Color Throwdown #76! I had cardstock scraps on my table one day, and this color combination was born! I hope you'll find it inspiring, and maybe a little bit Spring-like? (We can hope, right?)

Remember, you don't have to use these exact colors... just use whatever you have that is most-similar. And your card should primarily consist of these colors... adding neutrals is OK, but we want to see these three colors in prominance on your card! Be sure to review the eligiblity requirments in the right hand sidebar if you want to be considered for Featured Stamper next week!

Now, go on... get inky!

Featured Stamper #75

WOW! You guys really rocked this challenge--what was I worried about? There were some really awesome creations this week! So fun to see the different "themes" you chose!

So on to the Featured Stamper! Courtesy of Random.org, #36 was chosen --- Lesley from Always Playing with Paper! Woohoo! Here is her beautiful easel card:

Lesley is a relatively new Stampin'Up! demonstrator and it has been a real joy to see her creations! Now, for my personal favorites this week, not in any particular order:

  • Julie
  • Kari
  • Monika
  • Deb
  • and I just have to give a little toot about Greta, who is only ELEVEN years old! Take a peek at her cute little blog!!! A budding stamper/blogger in our midst! I love to look at her blog, just to see that pretty smile!
Thanks again for playing this week and be sure to stop back tomorrow to see what Tammy has chosen for us all!!!
