Color Throwdown #49

Welcome to Color Throwdown #49! This week it's my turn to host the challenge, and I hope you like what I've chosen. I was shopping with my daughter and our exchange student back in April and spotted a cute top with these colors, so I knew I'd need to use them in a Throwdown! Even though two out of these three colors are considered retired by Stampin' Up, just use whatever you have that is similar. Anything goes as long as you have fun!

Please help us welcome our Guest Designer for the month of July, Juliana Swanson! Juliana has played along with the Throwdown many times, was chosen as a Featured Stamper back in May and then was chosen to be our Guest Designer for the month of July! We're thrilled to have her joining us with her fabulous designs! Be sure to stop by her blog for lots of inspiration!

Wow, you rocked this color challenge this week! I heard lots of positive comments about these colors, and I hope you'll be able to use this combo for future cards. It is difficult to choose from such a great selection, but Alysabeth squeaked in this card right under the wire, and it appealed to me - such a cute image, nice sketch and clean and simple embellishments!

This weeks color combo, Cameo Coral, Tempting Turquoise, and Kiwi Kiss, or any lime green, was inspired by this lovely piece of patterned paper by Crate Paper that was in my stash. I was thrilled to be able to match it up so well with the SU colors I picked. Sigh, it never gets any easier to choose our Featured Stamper every week. You ladies rocked this challenge again! And you made me WORK for this, LOL! Back and forth, making my lists, checking and rechecking. Finally I had to choose ONE of your cards and this was it.

Doesn't this card just make you SMILE?! And make you want to be out there playing in the water with these kids?
