Color Throwdown #8

Welcome to week #8 of The Color Throwdown! This week was my turn to choose. I don't use Cameo Coral very often so I started with that, added some complimentary colors, and came up with this combination of Certainly Celery, Old Olive and Cameo Coral, with So Saffron as an optional color! Remember, if you don't have these Stampin'Up! colors, feel free to use something close; we can't wait to see what you come up with! If you've got a blog, post a comment here with a direct link to your blog post. If you don't, you can post it on SCS, just be sure to use CTD8 in your posting.

Here's my card! Thanks for stopping by and we hope you have time to play!

Color Throwdown #7

Hi everyone! It is week 7 of the Color Throwdown Challenge and this week I have chosen Apricot Appeal, Ballet Blue and Bashful Blue for my challenge. As summer winds down, I am itching to begin my fall cards with those deep rich colors, but there is still lots of summertime left, so I forced myself to use some brighter hues! If you don't have these Stampin'Up! colors, feel free to use something close; we can't wait to see what you come up with! Remember, if you've got a blog, post a comment here and link it to your blog. If you don't, you can post it on SCS, just be sure to use CTD7 in your posting. So here's my creation for this week:

Color Throwdown #6

Hi everybody!! Sorry I've been MIA lately!! I got really sick at the end of June, but I'm feeling much better now and have been stamping up a storm. Below are my color picks for the week. You can also substitute Old Olive for Certainly Celery if you'd like :) I was kinda nervous about picking the colors for my turn, but I have to say I really enjoyed working with them. I hope you will give them a try too :)

Be sure to post your creations to this post and if you are uploading to the Splitcoast Gallery please use the keyword CTD6.

Have a great day and happy stamping!

Color Throwdown - Week 5

Welcome to week 5 of the Color Throwdown and one last chance to love the 2007-2008 In Colors! I actually used Marigold Morning, but since that one retired last year, I wanted to suggest another color that would work, so I picked So Saffron. I think this color combo is bright and fun! When Wild Wasabi and Purely Pomegranate first came out I knew I had to have them! I'm a pink and green kind of girl and I just loved these shades! I hope you can play along. If you don't have the exact colors then shame on you! No, I'm only kidding! Use whatever you have that is in the same color family - I'd love to see anything with Pink, Green and Yellow! Please post a direct link here in the comments so we can all see what you have done! I hope you have fun with the colors - I know I did! If you upload to Splitcoast, use keyword CTD5.
