Color Throwdown 11

Ha! I guess it was my week to do a little write up on my color picks! Sorry I'm a bit late! I must admit that I probably picked these colors for all the wrong reasons! I had some scraps out on the table and I noticed they matched some Basic Grey Offbeat paper I had - so it was pure convenience for me! I wasn't even sure if the colors really worked that well together, but once I made my card and the blog banners, I decided that they do look pretty good together. I hope that you find that they work well for you too! Have fun and give us a link so we can see!! Also, if you post in your Splitcoast Gallery, please use CTD11 so we can find it! Thanks and have fun!
Don't worry if you don't have the exact colors - you can use something similar, like Kiwi, if you'd like! Just have fun!

Color Throwdown #10

Wow! Color Throwdown #10!!! Can you believe it! I hope you are enjoying the weekly color challenges...Thanks so much to everyone that has participated so far.

With the 7th anniversary of 9/11 taking place week, I thought it was appropriate to go with a patriotic color theme. No special color names this week! Just use any version of red, white and blue (a coordinating neutral is fine as well).

If you participate, please be sure to come back and post a direct link in the comment section of this post so we can come check out your creation. Also, please use the keyword CTD10 if you upload to a public gallery such as Splitcoaststampers. There is no time limit and everyone is welcome to play.

Color Throwdown #9

Hello, everyone! Welcome to week 9 of the color throwdown challenges. I hope you don't mind, but I thought it was time to try out some of the brand new IN COLORS from Stampin' Up! I've chosen Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze and an old favorite, Regal Rose. I wasn't sure about the new colors at first, mostly because I loved some of the retiring colors so much, but the new ones are really great too! In fact, I liked these colors together so much that I made a whole set of cards!
