Color Throwdown #17 (And Candy!)

Well, here we are! Week #17, and it is a Halloweenie Week! Here are the colors! They should be very easy for you this week! Have fun, stamp and play, and then share your creations with us! If you upload to Splitcoast, please use CTD17 so we can find you! Thanks for playing!

Hmm.. and since it is Halloweenie Week - I think candy is appropriate! Um, how's about a $10 gift certificate for Jacksonbelle Embellishments! You know you want it! What do ya gotta do? Well, just make a card using our color picks this week and post it by Monday morning and some random generator thing will pick a number and I'll announce it here (and I'll so kindly contact you, the winner!)

Have a spooky week!

Color Throwdown #16

Hi Everyone - Welcome to the Color Throwdown weekly color challenge...here are our colors for today...

It was my turn to pick and I was inspired by the colors in the patterned paper I was using to make a card set for a party my 12 year old dd was invited to...Feel free to use your closest match on the colors. Everyone is welcome to play along and there is no time limit! Be sure to come back and post a direct link to your project here in the comments so we can stop by and be inspired by your work...also, if you post your card on Splitcoast, be sure to use the keyword, CTD16.

Take a look at our designers cards for more inspiration...

Color Throwdown #15

Hi, everyone, and welcome back for another edition of the Color Throwdown color challenge. I've seen a lot of Christmas cards being posted lately and we've even had a few here, but I don't want Autumn to slip by without using the beautiful fall colors. So this week I've chosen Kiwi Kiss, Really Rust, So Saffron and Chocolate Chip. As always if you don't have these exact colors, use whatever similar colors that you do have. We'd love to see what you come up with, so if you post a card, please use the keyword CTD15 and post a comment to this post with a direct link to your card.

Happy stamping, y'all!

Color Throwdown #14

Here we are again at another week of the Color Throwdown! Week 14 brought my turn around again, and I decided to use the above colors! These colors seemed bright enough if you still wanted to eek out one last bit of summer, but seemed like they'd be very appropriate for a Fall or Halloween greeting, too! Remember, if you don't have these exact colors, just use whatever you have that is similar! The goal here is to have fun! Leave us a comment back on this post with a direct link to your creation so we can all check it out, and if you choose to upload to SCS, use the keyword CTD14.

Have fun, and happy stamping!

Color Throwdown #13

Wow, 13 challenges so far, and I get to be the lucky hostess this week. I have picked Baja Breeze, So Saffron and More Mustard for our 13th challenge. I think I could use Baja Breeze on just about every card I make. I hope you will take some time to create something with these colors and post it in the comment screen, linking it to your blog. Or if you want to post on SCS, be sure to use the key word CTD13. If you don't have these exact colors, don't worry, just use something close!
