Welcome to Color Throwdown #31! We are really enjoying seeing all your creations each week, and hope you'll take time to join us again! Remember, one person gets chosen each week as Featured Stamper, and one person from those that are chosen gets randomly selected to be our guest for a Throwdown challenge next month!

Today's colors might be great if you need to create a card for a boy or man! We can't wait to see what you come up with, and hope that the samples below will help inspire you!

Leave a link to your creation in the Mr. Linky below, and remember if you upload to an online gallery, use CTD31 to tag your photo!

Featured Stamper #30

Wow. it was another incredible week of fabulous samples! You are all making it very hard to pick a Featured Stamper each week! But there can only be one, and Lisa Foster's "Throw Me a Towel" card is the one I've chosen! That duck in the birdbath is just too cute, the coloring is amazing and the use of the Throwdown colors all tied it together perfectly!

Thank you to EVERYONE for playing along each week! Be ready for another challenge tomorrow, and maybe YOU could be the next Featured Stamper!

Color Throwdown #29

Hi, it's Danielle and this is my first time ever hosting a challenge! When I chose my colors I was thinking Valentines Day...Chocolate Chip, for well, chocolate, and Regal Rose, for roses, and Kiwi Kiss, for kisses! Well ok, green is my absolute favorite color so it had to be in there. When it came right down to it I was frankly tired of making Valentine's Day cards so I moved onto the next holiday. It's a big one for me! I love to send them over to my relatives in Ireland so I really have an excuse to buy more St. Patrick's Day stamps and accessories...really I do!

So lets see your creations! Make sure you use CTD29 as a keyword if you upload to a public forum. Please use Mr. Linky below to link your challenge entry, from the public forum or your blog, directly to this post. All entries during the month of February make you eligible to be chosen as our March Guest Designer, and of course you could be chosen as our Featured Stamper next week!

We also welcome our February Guest Designer, Maria Gurnsey to the challenge this week! Be sure to check our her awesome sample below!

I am looking forward to everyone's designs-happy stamping!!

And here is the blinkie for this week, if anyone wants to change it up on their blog! Just right-click and save it to your computer, then put it in your blog sidebar. Please remember to link it back to this blog, also! Thanks!

Featured Stamper #28

Yep, the other team members were right: it's not easy picking one card out of so many rockin' submissions. My first cut had me down to somewhere around 20 cards, LOL. But they were all so great I kept going back and forth, back and forth, finally down to three, then two.

Finally, I came down to one--the gorgeous card by Marcea of Marcea's Crafting Corner. And here is her card:

Congratulations, Marcea!!! Contact me through my email listed on my blog, and I'll send you a blinkie for your blog to announce that you were our Color Throwdown Featured Stamper this week! You now have a chance to be our randomly picked guest designer for March!

Many thanks to you all for playing along this week! The design team has so much fun seeing how each of you interprets the color combinations in a different way! Be sure to check back tomorrow for another challenge hosted by Danielle.

Mister Linky Update

Good morning! Just for clarification...

The Mister Linky at the bottom of the Color Throwdown #28 (and for each weekly challenge going forward) is only for linking to your challenge creation. Once you upload your challenge card or project to either your blog or an online gallery such as Split Coast or Papercraft Planet you can copy the link to it and paste it into the URL on Mister Linky. This will take us directly to your challenge and not just to your blog where we may have to search to find your Throwdown entry.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me or anyone on the Color Throwdown team. Thanks and have a great day!

Mister Linky works!

I have successfully installed the Mister Linky widget on the Color Throwdown #28 post. In order to add a link for us to view your creation you will use the widget instead of pasting a link on your comment. You first type your name and then in the URL box you paste the location of your creation...SCS upload, or blog post, etc and enter. Your name will appear right above the linky box and everyone will be able to view your post just by clicking on your name. How cool is that?!

Please let us know if you have any questions and thanks so much for playing along with us!

Color Thowdown #28

Welcome to challenge #28! This is my first time to choose the colors and it's so exciting!! Since it's getting so close to Valentine's Day, I thought I'd throw out some Valentine's colors for you: Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, and (gotta have chocolate!) Chocolate Chip.

We can't wait to see what you come up with; there are no requirements to make a Valentine's Day card, of course--just let those creative juices start flowing and show us your stuff! And there's no time limit--play whenever you can! If you play along with us, just upload your card to your blog or gallery and leave us a link here. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD28 so we can see your beauty all in one place. And remember, if you play, you *could* be picked as our Featured Stamper next week! And *that* would put you in the running for Guest Designer for March! So, let the stampin' begin!

Featured Stamper #27

Wow! When the other ladies said it was hard to choose a Featured Stamper for their week...they were right! I'm so glad so many participated using the colors I chose but it sure did make it even harder to choose!!!

After looking at all the submissions again...and again...and again...I chose this one by Lisa of Kind Creations...

Isn't that image just the cutest? I love how her outfit coordinates with the colors in the challenge! Great job Lisa and thanks so much for trying out my color combo!!! Please contact me through my blog at Crafty Thoughts and I will send you your Featured Stamper blinkie!

Lisa now stands the chance to be a Guest Designer on the Color Throwdown blog for one of the challenges next month...see THIS POSTfor all the details.

Thanks so much to everyone who played along with my combo. I certainly was inspired by your creations and I hope you'll play along with our next challenge hosted by Barbara!

See you soon...
