Color Throwdown #44

Welcome to Throwdown #44! I am your hostess this week, and chose these colors based on the new Wisteria paper I got recently from Basic Grey. I hope you'll decide to play along because it's so simple to do! Simply create a card or other project using these colors (or whatever you have that's similar!) and upload it to your blog or online gallery. Then use the Mr. Linky below to leave us a direct link to your creation. One lucky participant will be selected to be Featured Stamper next week, and will go in the running to become our Guest Designer for the month of July! (see this post for more information!)

And yet again, I had a very hard time choosing this week's Featured Stamper. It was doubly hard when Mister Linky decided to take a hike in the middle of the week, but we finally did get it back and after very careful review of all the gorgeous entries this week, I chose this amazing entry:



I love this image and I love that it is so beautifully and softly colored with only the lavender Flower Soft as an embellishment!

Featured Stamper #42

WOW! Again, this week's submissions made my job of choosing just one card extremely difficult! Everyone seemed to love these colors and did an awesome job; thanks for all the wonderful comments! I finally decided on this card by Lesley at Always Playing with Paper. I just loved the simple layout, but she also paid great attention to detail in stamping and cutting out her elements; the colors were clear and bright and I just loved it!
So Lesley, be sure to email me (info on my blog) and I'll zip you the Featured Stamper blinkie you can add to your blog! Congratulations!

And now we have a special announcement! We're going to be adding a new member to our team in the form of a Guest Designer for a month at a time! So now, anyone who is chosen as Featured Stamper will go into the running to become our Guest Designer for a whole month! Right now, Lesley and Cassie (from last week) are in the running and we'll have two more Featured Stampers for the month of May to consider and one of these lucky participants will get to be our Guest Designer for the month of July! Hi everyone! This week my color choices are Tempting Turquoise, So Saffron and Basic Black:

I always think adding a little pop of black really can "set off" your colors, so let's see what you come up with! This week I got my color combo inspiration from The Green Stack paper pad by Die Cuts With A View. I can't get enough of the adorable designs and great colors in these papers. They make a great color combo for masculine cards too!

I hope these colors inspire you to play along! Please link your card below using Mr. Linky and remember if you use a public gallery such as SCS or Papercraft Planet please use CTD41 in your keywords. Another week of awesome cards, ladies!! Thanks for sharing your talent and creativity with us. And another week of difficult decisions. So many great cards, only one featured stamper. It was hard but I did it. My choice for Featured Stamper this week is Sylvia Nelson. Here's her entry:
