Color Throwdown #83

Are you ready to handle another Color Throwdown? I'm especially excited for Color Throwdown #83 today, because our challenge is being sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps! Kitchen Sink was the very first design team I was ever chosen for, and will always hold a special place in my heart! Maria, the company owner is such a wonderful, generous person and a joy to work for! I even hold the distinction of being the very first Kitchen Sink Stamps customer, too! I saw an ad on Splitcoaststampers one day in October 2007, took a peek at the 3-Step Daisy and other stamps and instantly placed an order.
Here, in Maria's words, is a little bit of the history of Kitchen Sink Stamps...

Well, we (me, myself & I ... and with the loving support of my husband and 2 boys) are a new stamp company. We are very proud & excited to offer a variety of original stamp designs in clear, high-quality polymer for you to unleash your creativity!

Kitchen Sink Stamps came to be out of endless hours scouring the web and local stamp & craft shops to find stamps that seemed to only exist in my mind.

So, in the beginning, I had designed and produced these stamps to fill my needs and wants (hope that doesn’t sound too selfish?). Then, when friends starting asking me to either make them a stamp that they couldn’t find or show them how to make their own stamps (I need to mention here that I was making my own photopolymer stamps in my kitchen sink at the time) ... that is when it hit me! I need to share my stamps with fellow stampers & crafters all over!

I am truly excited to have the opportunity to share these professionally made (not by me... in my kitchen sink) stamps, with all of you! Honestly, I am so excited to see what fellow stampers and scrapbookers will do with Kitchen Sink Stamps and their creativity! Plus, I have just fallen in love with being a stamp designer! (pssss! - there are more designs coming soon!).

I hope you will enjoy your Kitchen Sink Stamps as much as I do!

Maria is generously offering a $20 gift certificate to the Kitchen Sink store for one lucky participant this week, so c'mon and throw down some colors and let me see what you can create! The rules are simple... you don't have to match the colors exactly, just use whatever you have that's close. Your card should primarily consist of the four colors in today's challenge... no rainbows, please! Use keyword CTD83 in any online galleries, add the direct link to your project using Inlinkz below, and be sure to credit the Color Throwdown Challenge as your inspiration in your post. The complete rules are listed in the right sidebar if you're looking for more detailed guidelines.

Be sure and stop at LeAnne and Pam's blogs to see their creations today, too!

Thanks for your continued support and enthusiasm for The Color Throwdown! We love "seeing" you all each week!

Oh wow, Wild Wasabi!! I'm going to have to dig deep into my old stash of paper for this one - looks so fresh together though. Love it!
