You have to go to her blog here to see the whole project-the tag pulls out to reveal a place for a note! Gorgeous!

Since I was not able to view all of the projects this week I am not going to list any other specific cards…but please enjoy our Featured Stamper!

Featured Stamper #105

It's time to announce Featured Stamper #105 and to mention a few others that caught my eye this week! Another week of awesome entries, folks! Thanks to all for participating!

OK, Random.org picked #44 - Erin of Homemade Cards By Erin!!! Congrats, Erin!!! Here's her card--just love that CAS look and those silhouetted flowers. Beautiful, Erin!

The eye catchers are:
1. Melissa H - I love the spotlighting technique and this was very nicely done.
2. Lynn Put - gorgeous job with those flowers!
3. Holly - another beautiful CAS card

Thanks again to everyone for playing along with The Color Throwdown and for providing all that eye candy for us--we look forward to it every week! We'll have a new challenge tomorrow morning and we hope to see you all back then!

Color Throwdown #105

Happy Wednesday!! Are you ready for another Color Throwdown challenge? Barbara here, and I've got your colors for this week.
They're all kinda dark, so feel free to lighten your project up with white or cream if you want. I guess I chose these colors 'cause I'm hoping fall will hurry up and get here--I'm so tired of HOT!!

As always, if you don't have the exact colors, substitute what you have on hand, but please stay as close as possible with your colors. We hope to see lots of entries, so get your thinking caps on and let the stampin' begin! Oh, and first and foremost, HAVE FUN!

Now, how about a little DT inspiration for you?

Color Throwdown #104

Hi everyone and welcome to another edition of the Color Throwdown! Like Tammy last week, I'm also using colors that remind me of summer, but this week it's the bright and fun side of summer! Check these colors out:

Now when I chose these colors, I fully expected to have all the new SU colors in hand. Well, that hasn't happened quite yet, so I had to substitute Summer Sun for Daffodil Delight on my card. It's not exact but it's really close. And that's all we ask of you. If it's not a perfect match, at least be sure it's close!

We're also welcoming a brand new Guest Designer for August! We're all so thrilled to have her join us! Please give lots of warm CTD love to Iwona Palamountain, better known as Chupa! Yay! I can't wait to see what she's got in store for us this month!

So are you ready to take on this challenge?? I certainly hope so!

Featured Stamper #103

Well, from reading the blog posts this week it would appear that some of you loved the colors I chose, and some of you didn't! Sort of the way I feel when LeAnne puts any shade of BLUE in the combination... I wanna' slap her silly 'cause I just don't get along with blue! (just kidding... I'd never slap such a sweet friend, but we do love to give each other grief over color choices!)

The randomly chosen Featured Stamper for Color Throwdown #103 is Evelyn S. with this pretty card! Evelyn found that some paper from Basic Grey's Porcelain collection was a great compliment to these colors, so she used the paper to piece these beautiful flowers! Evelyn, if you will email me, I'll send you a Featured Stamper blinkie for your blog! (tammyhershberger[at]gmail[dot]com)
There were quite a few of you that really captured the elegance I envisioned when I chose these colors, and these are the five cards that really stood out as my favorites this week:

Thanks to everyone for playing along! Tomorrow, Broni is up with a completely different but just as Summery Color Throwdown for you to try!

TTFN!
