Featured Stamper #100

Holy COW! What a wild celebration this has been! As I type this on Monday evening, there are currently 352 entries into Color Throwdown #100, AND there is still about 75 minutes left to enter! I don't think any of us anticipated how many of you would be inspired to enter but we love you all for playing along and helping us celebrate!

I wasn't going to bother with a Featured Stamper post this week, but thought what the heck.... maybe it'll bring one person good luck to the randomly selected Featured Stamper out of so many! So between 1 and 352, our Featured Stamper this week is...

And speaking of winners.... you're all just dying to know, aren't you? I'm hoping it'll be an easy process, but have a feeling that getting all the winners drawn will be quite time-consuming! Please be patient with us! I am hoping to have a post done on Friday listing all the winners, and as many of the designers as possible will also have the information posted on their blogs. PLEASE be watching for this, and if your name is on the list contact the appropriate person listed to claim your prize ASAP! We hope you understand that with this much stuff it's impossible to sit around and wait to hear from someone, so there will be a time limit mentioned in the post.

Did you notice we now have a Facebook Fan Page, too? I'm thinking if you go and "like" us there, you might find the occasional advance notice of the colors for upcoming challenges! Just saying.... maybe..... you never know!

Color Throwdown #100

Hello everyone, and welcome (finally!) to Color Throwdown #100!!! The team has been so excited for this day to arrive, and we hope you're excited, too! Let the fun begin! The colors today were actually chosen by team member Kristin Bueter. However, you've probably noticed that Kristin has been MIA for about a month now... she's currently away from home on a work-related assignment. So having her choose the colors today was our way of including her in the challenge. You'll also notice one of our long lost members playing along today, too...Kisa Peters! Kisa graciously supplies us with the beautiful blog banners each week and the color swatches, but for today we convinced her to stamp something and play along, too! You'll also see our new Guest Designer for July, Makiko Jones. Maki's designs just make us ooh! and aah! everytime she plays along so she was a natural choice for our next Guestie! And finally, we're thrilled to have eleven other former Guesties joining us today for the celebration! These are some of the nicest, most fabulous stampers and we're just thrilled that they all said yes to joining us today for this special celebration! (Who wouldn't, anyway?) ;)

There are some rules we need everyone to be aware of today. In order to be eligible to win any of the fabulous prizes, you must ...

1. Submit a newly-created, paper-crafted creation... a card, scrapbook page, 3-D item, anything as long as it falls under the category of paper crafts and follows the specified colors. (And please, no "rainbows"... your creation must consist primarily of the specified colors.) As always, you do not have to use these exact colors... just whatever you have that is most-similar.

2. Upload your creation to your blog or other online gallery, then leave a direct link to your creation using the Inklinz widget below. A direct link means it will take us directly to your creation... not to your whole gallery, or to your blog, please. Any links that don't follow this rule will be deleted. (You may resubmit if you discover that your link was deleted for not complying.) You have until 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on Monday, July 12 to submit your entry.

3. Start commenting! Winners will be chosen by random number from all the comments left on the designers blogs listed below. So the more blogs you comment on, the better your chances are at winning, but please only one comment per person per blog. The designers blogs where you will find prizes are....

There you have it, folks! On Wednesday, each designer will have more details about their prizes, and photographs of specific products! All you're going to have to do is create a card or other paper crafted project using the colors specified for that day (remember, we don't require exact colors... just use whatever you have that is similar!) Then you'll need to upload a DIRECT link to your creation (we're going to have to be picky about this for the Celebration... links that don't go directly to your creation will be deleted!) using the Inklinz widget on the Color Throwdown blog. Then, start commenting! The more you comment, the greater your chances are to win (but only one per blog, please!) The deadline to enter will be 11:59 p.m. on Monday, July 12th so you'll have plenty of time for your creation and comments! Winners will all be randomly drawn.

Q: Can we enter more than one card?

A: Yes, you can but it won't increase your chances of winning since winners will be chosen from the comments left on the designers' blog. To be fair to everyone playing, you can only win one prize. If a participants name is randomly drawn as the winner on one blog, then their name gets randomly drawn on another, a new random number will be drawn.

Q: I'm confused about where we have to leave our comments. Is this going to be like a blog hop??

A: Yes, it is a "blog hop" of sorts, but you don't have to go in any particular order. We ask that you only leave one comment per blog. A complete blog list of the designers who have prizes to give away will be posted with the challenge on Wednesday. The more blogs you comment on, the better your chances will be of winning something!

Q: Can International stampers play along?

A: Absolutely!
