Color Throwdown #500

The Color Throwdown Challenge is hitting a big milestone today as we reach the 500th challenge mark!  Woohoo!!!  I think that calls for some fireworks, since it's also the 4th of July in the U.S.!

I fell in love with the inspiration photo and thought the navy, blush, gold and white color combo of the cake would make some great celebratory cards! Remember, we are using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown, you will be good!  As always, feel free to incorporate any neutrals to your design if you like!

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword CTD500, and please use #ctd500 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.  Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog. All of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, so check them out if you are in doubt!  One last detail to remember: no digital designs - only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed.  Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

Since it's a new month, we also have a new guest designer to announce and you don't want to miss her fabulous creations!  Welcome to Kathy Schweinfurth of Stamps At Play!

Happy creating!
