Color Throwdown Challenge #832

 Hello everyone! Kelly Schirmer here as your host for this week's Color Throwdown challenge! 

The colors for this week:  dark blue, light blue, and red!  I love looking at quilts for color and pattern inspiration, and this quilt square captured my Americana design loving heart!

 

Remember we just use generic colors (so any brand/type/whatever you have will work) and you can always feel free to add in neutrals (white/black/etc) to your creation. 

If you upload your creation to a public gallery, use the keyword CTD832, and use #CTD832 and #colorthrowdown on social media so we can find your gorgeous creations!  When linking up your creation using the linky tool below, be sure to link your specific post and not a general link to your blog.  All of the "rules" are up top on the rules page, and you can always check there to be sure!

One last detail to remember, no digital designs, please! Only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

We can’t wait to see what you make!  In two weeks. We’ll reveal a randomly-selected guest designer from all of the entries, and showcase some cards or projects that caught our attention. For now, here is some fabulous inspiration from the CTD team…

Color Throwdown #831 Featured Stamper

Hello everyone!  Posting from my vacation in The Villages in Florida today... please, be jealous!  We're having a WONDERFUL time!

Color Throwdown Challenge #831

Tammy here, hosting our my first challenge since re-joining the team last year.  I'm so glad you're joining us today!  Easter is right around the corner, and along with daffodils and crocuses, the tulips are in bloom!  So today's inspiration comes from this beautiful photo I borrowed from someone I follow on Instagram.  Aren't they gorgeous? Remember, we use generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown, you are all set! Feel free to incorporate any neutrals that you would like in your design.

If you upload your creation to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD831, and please use #ctd831 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of this post, please use a direct link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog.
